IUPUI Senior Academy Oral History Party Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 2:30–5:30 p.m. IUPUI Senior Academy members are invited to share stories and memories as part of the Indiana University Bicentennial Oral History Project and IUPUI’s 50th anniversary. Please come and enjoy refreshments and conversation as members disperse throughout the house for recorded, one-on-one interviews. Senior Academy members who choose to be interviewed will be placed in an interview slot when they RSVP (twelve 60–minute slots will be available), or future appointments can be scheduled. Senior Academy members and guests who have already participated in the Oral History project or who do not wish to be interviewed are welcome to join the party as we reflect back on 50 years of IUPUI academic and campus life. Guests are invited to contribute to an IUPUI timeline and bring photos and memorabilia to display during the party. “As part of Indiana University’s Bicentennial (1820-2020) effort, a Bicentennial Oral History Project is interviewing IU faculty, staff, students, alumnae, alumni, and friends. It is part of an effort to gather the voices of the people who have made the university. People have shared stories of their good and bad times, their triumphs and failures, and of the people they encountered through work, study, and play”. |
