The Last Lecture Series offers the university community the opportunity to hear reflections on life’s lessons and meaning from a current or retired IUPUI colleague of exceptional merit. Each speaker shares the wisdom gained, and distills a life of inquiry, reflection and service into important guidance for successive generations.
The 2017 Last Lecture will be presented by Miriam Z. Langsam, Ph.D., Emeritus Professor History and Associate Dean of Students, School of Liberal Arts. The title of her presentation will be "From Brooklyn to Retirement and What I Learned On the Way".
The Last Lecture will be held, Friday, August 25, 2017, 2 PM, in the Campus Center Theatre, Lower Level. Parking for Senior Academy members is free in the Vermont Street Garage adjacent to the Student Center. Senior Academy members can ereh PVSR.
The Last Lecture Series is a primary activity of the IUPUI Senior Academy with support from the IUPUI Executive Vice Chancellor's Office and the Indiana University Foundation.
