Volunteering with the IUPUI Graduate Office

IUPUI Graduate Office

Volunteer Opportunity: Counsel potential graduate students on career choice and strategies for applying to graduate school. If you have academic or professional expertise aligned with graduate degree programs, students may request the opportunity for a one-on-one interview with you.  These interviews are part of the formal program at the Boot Camp organized by the IUPUI Graduate Office.

Volunteer Opportunity: Critique written personal statements of students who are applying to graduate programs. This opportunity is open to individuals with knowledge of graduate admissions and with the elements of successful personal statements in a graduate application.  Students may submit drafts of personal statements as part of Getting You Into IUPUI, a program organized by the IUPUI Graduate Office, or they may request individual feedback at any time during the year.

For either opportunity, contact: Jennifer Mahoney, Graduate Recruitment Coordinator, University Library 1170, 755 W. Michigan St., Indianapolis, IN 46202
