IUPUI University Club

Connie F. Justice, Clinical Associate Professor of Computer and Info Technology, will share the scope and impact of her work in Cyber Security education training and awareness and how we can protect our personal information.

Event is in the University Club, second floor of University Tower/Hine Hall, 875 West North St., Room 200.

Speakers confirmed for this event are:

Lee Hamilton, former Congressman, speaking on how legislatures must use civility to promote effective democracy

Bart Peterson, former Indianapolis Mayor, speaking on the importance of civility for our cities and the business community

Adrianne Slash, Diversity and Inclusion Consultant, Community Health Network, speaking on the part civility plays in the training of young leaders

Rabbi Sandy Sasso, Temple Beth el Zedeck, speaking on the spiritual and religious aspects of civility

Sheila Suess Kennedy, Director of the IUPUI Center for Civic Literacy, will speak on the impact of social media in reviving civility

Indy Pulse, students will present spoken word art on the theme of civility

Day Trip to Kokomo Opalescent Glass Factory and Lunch at Kokomo restaurant

Day trip tour to Opalescent Glass Factory, 1310 S. Market Street, Kokomo, IN. Tour is 60-90 minutes long; $5 admission. Lunch to follow at a yet to be determined Kokomo restaurant. Participants will drive their own cars.
