SENIOR ACADEMY FRESHMAN (IPS) SCHOLARSHIP

Up to $3000. Deadline: February 1. Admission and application A, E, T, R2 

The Senior Academy at IUPUI has established a scholarship program designed to partially support tuition and books for beginning freshmen who show the potential for academic excellence at IUPUI. The scholarship will be awarded in the second semester of the awardee’s high-school senior-year for enrollment at IUPUI in the following fall semester. Applications are reviewed and the awardee selected by the Senior Academy Scholarship Committee. Applicants must (1) meet regular admission requirements to IUPUI, (2) have graduated from a high school in the Indianapolis public School (IPS) system, (3) have a high school grade point average of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, and (4) agree to enroll for at least 9 credit hours per semester. The applicant must also submit two letters of recommendation (Must be from current or former high school teachers), and complete an essay on  your academic objectives, community service, and career goals.

A= Application, E= Essay, T= High School Transcript, R2= two letters of recommendation (you may use the recommendation section of the application form or submit separate letters)

Students must apply through the IUPUI Office of Student Scholarships.
